Upset or Not?

Honestly, No....Just because Appalachian State falls in to the Criteria of an AA program. Has nothing to do with how they run their offense...or better yet Pick apart Michigan's Splotchy Defense. With Carr having to replace many good D players and the fact that Appalachian State is 2 time Defending Class AA champions (And Almost Unanimous Pick for a 3rd consecutive).

If App State had a few more fans, a bigger stadium, and better Revenue the would easily be in the top half of the D1-A teams.

The best thing to come from this Win is that it's now justified to have D1-AA teams on EA Sports NCAA Football.


Maybe 1-AA is the undersized little brother of 1-A, But you still have to play the game.
